Manual and/or CNC Machinist

About the Position

Kiefer Tool & Mold Inc. is seeking an experienced machinist with the capabilities to operate manual machining equipment including any of the following machines; engine lathe, boring mill (vertical or horizontal), cylindrical and surface grinder, and/ or Bridgeport mill. You will be required to set up and lay out material to be machined, competently operate the machine you are assigned to, accurately measure the parts you are machining and record those measurements, along with clean and maintain your machine and work area. Required for this position is an ability read and follow blue print/ drawing instructions, determining appropriate speed and feed rate of tool/ machine, along with being able to use and read measuring devices like micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.

What we Offer

This is a first shift position (7am-4pm), and can either be full or part-time, benefits our company provides include paid vacation time, 401K plans, and flexible scheduling. Wages for a machinist position at our company range from $12 to $20.

Mechanic/ Millwright

About the Position

Kiefer Tool & Mold Inc. is seeking an experienced mechanic with some knowledge and experience working with manufacturing and industrial equipment. Required for this position is having a general understanding of power transmission (shafts, gearing, bearings and bushings), hydraulic system and general assembly processes; diesel or automotive mechanics are acceptable. You will be required to competently use the tools and equipment you are given, accurately measure parts you are repairing or replacing, read and understand drawings and parts manuals, along with clean and maintain used tools, equipment and work area.
