Kiefer Tool and Mold precision machined a copper electrode for a manufacturing company named Watteredge LLC located in Avon (Cleveland), Ohio. Made from a copper alloy, these electrodes were 24″ in diameter by 36″ long and were turned in our SIGMA Touse Lathe to have a 1 pitch whitworth thread. These electrodes were components used in a large induction furnace. There were 75 pieces in the entire order and were completed in a 3 month period.
